Modern Rear Extension - Ealing

Project Overview:
This project transformed a traditional Ealing home into a contemporary, light-filled family space through a modern rear extension. Our goal was to create an open-plan living area that seamlessly blends with the garden, maximizes natural light, and elevates the overall functionality of the home.

Design & Planning:
The design incorporated full-width sliding doors, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the interior and creating a smooth indoor-outdoor flow. Careful attention was paid to the layout, ensuring that the extension complemented the existing structure while providing a versatile space for living, dining, and entertaining.

Construction & Craftsmanship:
Our team handled the project from concept to completion, including structural work, roofing, flooring, and finishing. High-quality materials and finishes were selected to create a modern, elegant look while maintaining durability and comfort. The construction was carefully managed to minimize disruption to the household and ensure a timely completion.

Outcome:
The final result is a stunning rear extension that feels spacious, bright, and inviting. The full-width sliding doors create a strong connection to the garden, while the open-plan layout enhances daily living and entertaining possibilities. This project showcases GLS Building Contractors Ltd’s commitment to combining innovative design with expert craftsmanship to create homes that are both beautiful and practical.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Dimitar and his team at GLS was great. They did a kitchen reno for us and we are very happy with the results. While the reno did take longer than expected, Dimitar made the process very easy. I was previously residing over an hour away from our new home, so commuting was difficult.

He ensured that he sent picture updates regularly through WhatsApp, asked questions when he needed clarification, and requested for in-person meetings when needed. His team also kindly received all our packages for us. If there was something that we weren't happy about, he was open to making it right.

They also give you ample time to find issues and will come back to fix them. For example, my dishwasher and one of the outlets wasn't working so he arranged time for his team to come by to resolve the issue.

I would love to work with GLS again and highly recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our Victorian House in Ealing was in need of total refurbishment.
Friend of mine recommended GLS building contractors - as reputable builder in Ealing area.
It was substantial load of works. New extension and about 40m2 of loft. 3 bathrooms and kitchen, also underfloor heating all over the house.
Dimitar made all that process to look very easy and finished with high standard and unparalleled quality. All operatives of the company are very experienced and masters in their trade - real craftsmen.
Fantastic experience ! Thank you.
